Mentor Exchange 2015/16 Applications Now Live

AMA Toronto is pleased to announce that the Mentor Exchange program is now accepting Mentee applicants for the 2015/16 program.

Now entering its sixth year, the program pair’s mid-level marketers, business professionals and entrepreneurs with a senior leader for a 9 month 1 on 1 mentorship.  

New to the program this year, AMA Toronto has partnered with The Donohue Mentoring System (http://www.thedms.org/tadd more structure to the mentoring process and enhance the overall mentorship relationship for both parties.  “When we look at our customer experience research, the mentoring pairs that reported having more structure to their meetings also reported the highest level of satisfaction from the program” says David Kincaid, Co-Chair of the Mentor Exchange program. “What’s exciting is we know this system will improve mentoring outcomes in a very measureable way.”

With over 60% of mentors returning, the program is welcoming over a dozen new mentors to the program.  The New Mentors were recruited by leveraging the senior relationships of the advisory committee and through peer recommendations from the incumbent mentors. “Our best ambassadors are of course the mentors who have gone through the program” says Craig Lund, Co-Chair of Mentor Exchange. “being a mentor is a big commitment, so having a strong recommendation from a peer is really valuable”

Applications are being accepted until July 31st.  With only 40 spots available, the program receives 3 applications to every 1 space available.  Applicants must fit the criteria in order to be considered for a spot.
