Marketing Talent Toronto Adds Another

Following the recent addition of Emily Gauthreaux to Marketing Talent Charlotte, Marketing Talent Toronto has since welcomed Rena Myrtaj a Marketing Staffing Consultant to the team.

“With the increase in demand from our clients, we were operating beyond capacity” said Marketing Talent President, Craig Lund. “The organic business was flowing in for us in Toronto, so we knew the timing would be right to add more support staff and allow us to actually be able to focus on new business development.”

In the past 3 weeks the new team has been active on the Marketing networking circuit attending the June 14th Art of Marketing, AMA Toronto’s Marketing Schmooze at The Pilot, as well as a number of Corporate Pride & Diversity events such as ScotiaBank’s Pride Reception, and the Upcoming BMO/Osler Corporate Pride event.

Marketing Talent is recognized as being very entrenched in the marketing community and goes so far to describe themselves as a Social Enterprise. For Mytaj, this was one of the key reason’s she joined the company.  “The values of Marketing Talent and their active involvement in giving back to the same community they work within aligned with my personal values and what I was looking for in my next employer.”.

For Myrtaj, it was also an opportunity to become more specialized as an expert in recruiting marketing professionals. “I love that Marketing Talent is not a high volume recruiter.  They invest a huge amount of time in researching and understanding their clients and talent.  I love that I can provide my clients with the white glove service they deserve!”

Meet Rena

20160706_112522I enjoy recruiting for its fast pace and its demand for insight, tact, and drive. But the main thing that keeps me in love with the job is that it allows me to ask questions – lots of them, all the time. When clients and candidates sit across the table, I get to ask questions until I fully understand what they have, what they lack, what they want, and what they need. The reaching of this understanding satisfies not only my natural curiosity about everyone and everything around me, but my ability to help clients and candidates achieve their goals.

During the past four years, I have had the opportunity to explore in this manner various industries and businesses, ranging from Commercial Real Estate to Call Centre Outsourcing, learning how to best support the needs of hiring managers and workers of a variety of personalities, temperaments, skillsets, qualifications, and situations.

I am looking forward to working with Marketing Talent and its unique approach to staffing and consulting, its established clients, and its many talented contacts in the Marketing industry.
