Marketing Communications, Digital and Project Specialist

 

The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for executing on marketing plans and tactics in support of Corporate Marketing initiatives for the organization.   This role requires the application of a full range of communications and digital marketing techniques including the development and implementation of web friendly communication, content and design, and overall management of various marketing projects.

Duties include:
 

  • Develop digital based collateral, copywriting and copy editing for web format
  • Develop, create and execute a variety of strategic, creative, high-quality marketing tactics to support corporate initiatives, including but not limited to, product and operational enhancement, content creation for website, social media integration and other customer facing communications.
  • Strong writing skills with ability to craft value propositions, customer facing communications and create content for website and sales support collateral.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders and agencies/suppliers to lead and facilitate the execution of project based and digital marketing initiatives which include product and service based enhancements, web content, social and search engine optimization,.
  • Act as consultant to cross functional team members, providing guidance and working with vendors and other internal teams on website page design, web content and SEO

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of marketing experience preferably in B2B environment
  • Completed undergraduate degree in Marketing or other related field
  • Strong project management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, Canva
  • Excellent communication and writing skills and high attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks based on relative importance and urgency
  • Desire to work in a team-based environment on multiple projects simultaneously with limited supervision and tight timelines.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Hands-on experience with digital marketing channels and deep understanding of the importance of digital communications as part of an overall marketing strategy.
  • Have understanding and some working knowledge with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Google Analytics, email marketing, SEO, SEM, and Google Analytics, and be familiar with Adobe products
  • Willingness and openness to learn and grow
